At the end of July I read an interesting article on the blog Anima di carta by Maria Teresa Steri - some time ago she wrote the post on subplots for me - which listed a series of ideas for writing guest posts on her blog, one more beautiful than the other. That post was a great thought. I wrote guidelines that no one reads. How do I know? Precisely because strangers never seen on the blog or elsewhere send me their post: if they had read them, they would never have written to me. What to write on Blue Pen? Why do I keep getting proposals for topics I don't cover? Because people not only avoid reading the guidelines, but also reading what the blog in question is about.
I talk about writing here for at least 25% of the posts. But anyway, just take a look at the categories to get an idea. However, I decided to exploit the idea of Paper Soul and provide, in general, some ideas that I appreciate for guest posts. #1 – Creative Writing: Do you have something new to say? I don't care if you have published with Phone Number Data Mondadori or are perfect strangers, everyone can have something important to say, relevant, useful and original. Earlier I gave the example of subplots, an element of a story I had never thought about.
A story is made up of many elements: which ones would you like and could you talk about? #2 – Editorial promotion techniques Do you know new ways to promote a book, perhaps experimented by yourself? Here I talked about some techniques: after reading them, what can you write that is new? A tip: you don't have to talk about your book. Marketing and social media experts : do you know methods that you consider infallible or almost infallible for promoting a literary work? There is room for you too. But not for post-market. #3 – List items Or, as the Anglo-Saxons call them, list-posts . Which ones are they? For example the articles: 10 valid reasons not to write a saga 10 valid reasons not to stop writing 10 tips to refine your style 50 curiosities about my writing 20 questions about your book It is understood that they must be quality posts, which therefore say something useful.
